Photo and Film Studio Opens Near Bromley

Photographers and filmmakers in Bromley, Beckenham or Crystal Palace have had to go further afield to find adequate studios until recently, but last year Simulacra Studio, who’ve been running nearly 20 years moved premises into new warehouses in SE26.

They now have purpose built photos studios close to Bromley in a fully converted, self contained industrial unit with a 13m x 3m infinity cove, green screen and inclusive equipment.

As a Bromley native myself I was used to having big commutes for studio days, over the other side of London, I’m really pleased to have found this gem of a studio so close to home and I’ve already started recommending it to other local photographers.

Things that make it special?

Obviously convenience was key for me personally, but the in house equipment meant I didn’t have to order anything in and ship it from a rental house or pay delivery fees.

They also stock scenic flats and have a wide range of props which we utilized for our shoot.

The studio director is an accomplished photographer himself and was actually on hand to help us with set up and gave advice on lighting, it was really helpful to have this extra pair of hands.

I don’t know of any other studios close to Bromley with this facility.

The cherry on top was actually catering which included a free crew breakfast and a large buffet lunch which they arranged for us for a really fair fee.

If you’re South London based, especially Bromley which is less than 4 miles away, I do recommend you check them out. Having a photo studio this close to me as definitely made life easier and more creative!
